The religious significance of Mommy

Saturday night, Cynthia stayed over at her sister's house. Yesterday morning, it was snowing and windy. At one point, Elizabeth looked out the window and said, "Mommy's using the snowblower!" "No, Mommy's down at Auntie Karen's, remember? The wind's blowing the snow around" Arthur: "Mommy's using the snowblower a long way away!" Clearly, the kids have reached the age of mythopoeic behavior. :-)

Although, when you phoned and said I was a goddess, I thought it was direct praise from you. ;)

Yup. Deliberate ambiguity there. :-)

It's better than "Mother Nature's shaking out her pillows and look at the feathers!" which is what I got from my grandmother!

That one is close to the fairy tale story ... forget what the title is. A girl is taken in by a mysterious woman, and she eventually finds out that the chores she is doing bring the rain, the snow, the sun, etc. to the rest of the world.
