Book Meme

  1. Grab the nearest book.
  2. Open the book to page 123.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
  5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.

For example,

extern double sqrt(double);
extern elem* next_elem();
extern char* strcpy(char* to, const char* from);
extern void exit(int);

That's from Stroustroup, 2nd edition (and, yeah, I really need to get the 3rd edition; yesterday I discovered that the 2nd edition doesn't cover static or dynamic casts...).
