current mood: Cautiously optimistic
current song: "Cautious optimism" is not a mood that people write songs about

I've got my first interview today (not counting phone screens), another tomorrow, and another the day after that. All three of these companies sound promising; and the phone screens for the two that used them went really well. The two best-sounding options use at least two interviews, though, so I won't be finished soon, no matter how these first interviews go.

Cautiously Optimistic songs and rules of thumb

Um. Yes, there are cautiously optimistic songs...
"The sun will come out--tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow will be a better day!" or Floyd: "Breathe, breathe in the air..." But it sounds like your wife has your wardrobe sorted, and it's usual for there to be multiple interviews. I rather expect four or five for the positions I fill...

Given that the singer is a homeless orphan, that's not cautiously optimistic; that's insanely optimistic. :-)

This comment has not purpose except to show you the new, improved, icon picture for Elizabeth. You're welcome to steal any of them, btw.

Yow. May I just say that that is *stunning* headway, very quickly? Nicely done...
