I just finished a whole bunch of cleanups on a couple of my fonts, Isabella and Essays 1743. Among other things, I fixed the bug that caused some OSes to rendering the capital O in Essays 1743 as a solid blob.

Sooner or later I should do this with my other fonts, too...preferably sooner, before I forget everything I learned doing this.

(Update, 5 Mar 2010: I just put up version 1.2 of Isabella, which adds in a bunch of obscure characters. Not just, say, Hungarian umlauts—I've got those—but alphabets like Pan-Nigerian. I previously didn't do anything that wasn't actually built from Latin characters; but Fedora's diagnostic tools indicated some scripts that I could round out with fewer than 10 new characters each, so I went ahead and did it.)

You could write a note on what the bug is and how to solve it, and link to it from the fonts page. Then Google could index it and other people might find it and be helped.

Good idea.

I have these installed in my home directory at work, but apparently I never got around to putting them on my home machines. If a hypothetical burst of energy takes me, I may add them to the FreeBSD ports system.

Oh, that'd be cool. Wait a couple of days, though; I'm going to add a few more characters. (Fedora's font QA tool identifies which characters are needed to complete each script; I'm going to try to complete each script that needs fewer than 10 characters added.)
